                EXTRA MILE AWARD

The Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors have a program called The

Extra Mile Award.  Each month the committee selects one of the nominated people

for the award. A surprise visit is then planned and the ambassadors and anyone

interested meet at a designated place.  The winner is surprised with a visit.

A proclamation is then given from the State of Idaho signed by Gov. Kempthorn.

An extra mile award plaque, a special key chain sponsored by Middlekauff, a gift

certificate from Applebees, a gift certificate from The Perfect Look, an engraved

pen from Everybodys Business, a gift certificate from Mr. As Cleaners, a savings

certificate from First Federal Savings Bank, a gift certificate from the Outback Steak

House are presented to the Winner. The Business of the Winner will receive a Plaque

sponsored by Gem State Trophies.

The nominee, the chamber is looking for, is that special person who goes out of his

or her way to make someones business experience better.  We are looking at

every area of business and for that very special person who makes your business the place

our residents want to do business and enjoy their dealings.  If you have

someone who fits this description and does go the extra mile, please nominate

them or call Jack Jardine, the chairman of the ambassadors Extra Mile Award.  He

will help get the nomination to the committee.  Our goal of this program is to have

every business  an extra mile business.  The result will be that we will all benefit from our city,

Twin Falls,  being one that goes the extra mile to help their customers, clients, patients, etc.
