The College of Southern Idaho Board of Trustees and I wish to thank you for your efforts on behalf of the College of Southern Idaho and our students.
After reviewing our various revenue sources the Board of Trustees and the CSI Administration have agreed to offer you a 3% base increase in your annual salary contract. We will also honor the recommendations of the Rank Committee and have recognized those individuals who have achieved a degree or have had a change in their job description and/or responsibilities. In addition we have tried to eliminate any inequities that exist between similar positions. We plan to mail contracts on Friday, April 16th and we would like them returned by Friday, April 30th.
We have been notified that the State of Idaho has changed insurance carriers. After many years with Regence BlueShield, the State has accepted a bid from Blue Cross of Idaho for the next year. Although we have sought information as to the terms of our new policy, we have been informed that it will be another two weeks before we will have any specifics information. We would assume, being this is a bid process, that we should not experience an increase in premiums or a decrease in coverage. As soon as we receive specific details, we will inform you.
