The PACE Employee of the Year Award was established in 2002 to recognize outstanding performance by classified and professional employees of the College of Southern Idaho. The individuals who receive this award have exemplified exceptional levels of work performance and displayed high regard toward their fellow employees, their job responsibilities and the College of Southern Idaho.
Qualifications for Nominations
- Full-time professional and classified employees of the College of Southern Idaho
- Employed full-time for a minimum of two (2) years
- Employees who have demonstrated caring, commitment, integrity, professionalism & knowledge of job
Nominations
- Nominations are accepted by all current employees and faculty emeritus for qualified PACE members
- Nominations are accepted in the Month of October
- Nominee's performance evaluations must have overall satisfactory status
- Nominees are approved by the President and/or Human Resource Director
- Approved Nominees are rated by:
- One Classified Staff
- One Professional Staff
- One Academic Faculty Member
- One Technical Faculty Member
- Two Student Reps from the Student Senate
- One Rep from CSI Administration
- The President is notified of the winning Classified & Professional employee prior to the announcement
- All nominees receive a letter from the President after the awards are presented at the Spring In-Service
Award
- Recognized at the Spring In-service
- $1,000 Stipend
- Conference of choice for career/personal development
- Acknowledgment in the Times News
- Picture in the glass case near the president's office
